Our 17 partnering agencies, located throughout Delaware, represent the power of collaboration to activate transformational change. Member Camps work tirelessly with SummerCollab and each other to ensure they are prepared to execute extraordinary summer learning opportunities for their campers. Camp Leaders work year-round to collaboratively plan to deliver exceptional and precise learning environments for their kids.

Reversing summer learning loss together

Our partners are true change agents working to raise the bar for kids. Working together, they demonstrate more is possible. Working together, we share the belief that safe spaces, while needed, are simply not enough to provide our kids with opportunities for equal education. We believe our schools, and the teachers in them, are not alone accountable for the life outcomes of our children. Because of our network’s collective strengths, assets, and commitment, our community now has a powerful ally to help close the opportunity gap.

STRIVE

To succeed in school and in life, students must develop strong norms for their work effort, and effective coping and help‐seeking techniques that allow them to persevere when facing difficulty. Through STRIVE curriculum, students engage daily in activities promote self-direction, self-regulation, self-esteem. Instructional themes vary, from conflict resolution to followership and risk. Students celebrate both individual successes and team culture, and become “learners” rather than “attendees”.

EXPLO ED

EXPLO ED is an innovation lab that develops engaging and creative STEAM courses to promote students’ inquiry-based learning. EXPLO Studios is curriculum developed by the EXPLO ED a national leader in student engagement and curiosity. EXPLO Studios will engage students’ minds and their hands, and engage in problem-solving in a manner distinct from school. Art and design are meaningful and intentional components of EXPLO Studios course design, encouraging creativity and individuality as students sharpen their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
